ABOUT US
Ande's pets is a family owned and operated pet store inside Tampa's University Mall. We have been serving the community for more than 30 years and we will continue to provide excellent service to customers both new and old.

Our Pet Counselors are here because they love working with animals and caring for them. Pet Counselors are trained to help you find the perfect pet for your family. We have the knowledge to maintain the health and well being of the animal, we will help you find the perfect environment and suggest the diet and treats or toys that are suitable for your pet as well as answer any questions or concerns you might have. We are here to help.



OUR MISSION

Our Pet counselors are dedicated to enhancing your knowledge of the pet that may be joining your family or the one that already has a place in your home. We would like to spread our knowledge and love of animals in order to help our customers.


OUR COMMITMENT


At Andes Pets we pride ourselves on having the healthiest pets available.
Our first priority is the health of our animals. We ensure that all of our animals dietary and social needs are fulfilled. Getting enough rest throughout the day and getting plenty of love and attention are important. We feel pre-spoiling our pets is a requirement.

Our store's local Veterinarian is on hand at all times and visits weekly to preform examinations and administer vaccinations for the animals.

Our pets are from Professional and hobby breeders, with years of experience in raising happy, healthy family pets. Puppies and kittens have thorough checks both before and after arriving at our store, they are examined multiple times prior to being an Ande's pet. Upon their arrival they are thoroughly checked out by our Kennel Technician and then our veterinarian examines and vaccinates them. To ensure that EVERY puppy and kitten goes home to you healthy there is a waiting period of 24 hours after each animal has received vaccines so that we can monitor them for any shot reactions.

Our trained Kennel Technician monitors the health of our puppies and kittens daily. Weight, temperature, eating habits and appearance are routinely checked.

Our kennels are custom designed to be sanitary and comfortable for the puppies.
The kennels are broken down and sterilized multiple times daily as well as all sleeping materials and toys that have been used throughout the day. This keeps all kennels sanitary and puppies healthy.

All of our puppies go home with current and up to date vaccinations and de-wormers and a full health warranty. Puppies are also micro chipped and purebred puppies will have registration papers.

OWNER - ANDREW HIGGINS

STORE MANAGER- EMMA  

EMMA HAS WORKED AT ANDE'S FOR 4 YEARS. AT HOME SHE HAS 2 CHIHUAHUAS, A CAT, AN ALBINO BURMESE PYTHON, A TURTLE, PARAKEET AND MULTIPLE FISH TANKS.

MANAGER - IAN

IAN HAS BEEN WORKING AT THE STORE FOR 3 YEARS. HE HAS OWNED SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF REPTILES AND FISH. CURRENTLY HE HAS A MALI UROMASTYX, AND A TROPICAL COMMUNITY FISH TANK.

KENNEL TECHNICIAN - MARIAH

MARIAH IS OUR KENNEL TECHNICIAN AND HAS BEEN WITH THE STORE JUST OVER A YEAR  AT HOME SHE HAS A DOG, CAT AND A COCKATIEL.

KELLY HAS BEEN WORKING AT ANDES PETS FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS. SHE IS THE PROUD OWNER OF A  CHIHUAHUA AND A CAT.

PET COUNSELOR - BRIDGET

BRIDGET IS OUR NEWEST MEMBER OF STAFF, SHE HAS BEEN WITH US FOR A LITTLE OVER 2 MONTHS. BRIDGET HAS A CHOW MIX, A CAT AND TWO RATS. THE TWO RATS ARE NAMED MINA AND MARISHKA.
